The Ruong Retreat
The rural background brings peace and relaxation that cannot be found anywhere else. Nestled at the end of the village road leading to the fields of local people, The “Ruong” Retreat makes the most of the surrounding scenery to have as close to nature as possible. Inspired by the familiar image of a kite, reminiscent of an innocent, pure and peaceful childhood.
Bungalow 2 bedrooms - The Logan
Bungalow consists of 2 independent bedrooms, using shared living room and kitchen connected by roof and large front porch. Both bedrooms have glass doors that open up to the outside space, with large verandas for relaxing tea or reading. The bungalow has an elegant design with details related to the old village such as traditional tile roofs, straw roofs, wooden purlins. The Ruong uses local materials, evoking a sense of familiarity and simplicity. In many spaces, especially the bathroom - toilet area, the feeling of the country is reproduced most clearly.
Bungalow 1 bedroom - The Paddy
One bedroom bungalow designed specifically for couples looking for privacy and romance. Bungalow has a large bedroom connected to a spacious living room overlooking the vast rice fields, inspired by the familiar image of a kite, reminiscent of an innocent, clear and peaceful childhood. The space is close to nature, even in areas that need privacy such as the bathroom. The bathroom is designed with 2 indoor and outdoor shower spaces, with glass doors opening to the natural scenery outside. Couples can comfortably relax on the sofa or sunbathe on the loungers located on the sundeck. The option of having a romantic dinner on the patio overlooking the four seasons makes the stay perfect.
Eco room 1 bedroom - The COCO
Eco room 1 bedroom with small space private enough for couples with full facilities. . Open space towards the field, wake up every morning, look at the countryside scenery, inhale the smell of ripe rice that cannot be found in the city.
The Ruong is located in a coastal plain with forests, sea, and rice fields around the Retreat. Due to the diverse terrain, visitors are kindly requested to follow the safety guidelines as directed.
Our mission is to provide a sustainable environment for our guests, employees and the local community. The use of plastics is not encouraged in the property and/or any negative impact to the natural environment is not allowed.
1. The Logan Bungalow
Standard Inclusion: Room rate is inclusive of breakfast for four adults and two children under 6, government tax and service charges.
Maximum Capacity: 4 adults and 2 children
2. The Paddy Bungalow
Standard Inclusion: Room rate is inclusive of breakfast for two adults and one child under 6, government tax and service charges.
Maximum Capacity: 2 adults and 1 child
3. The Coco eco room
Standard Inclusion: Room rate is inclusive of breakfast for two adults, government tax and service charges.
Maximum Capacity: 2 adults
The Ruong has the following check-in and check-out times and policies.
Check-in: 2:00 PM. Check-out: 11:00 AM.
Terms of Booking & Booking Deposit
By placing a booking with us (the property owner / his/her representative) you (the lead guest) and your booking party (guests) agree to the following terms and conditions as set-out. During your stay you agree to abide by the subsequent conditions as set-out. If you have any questions about booking with us, please contact us before making a booking.
Coronavirus Guidance & Restrictions
The following Coronavirus guidance and restrictions are in place at this accommodation, in accordance with the current national and local Government guidance.
Booking Process
To place a booking with us the lead guest must be at least 18 years of age. The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on the website. Where the person making the booking is different to the lead guest taking up the occupation, the person making the booking may be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages as set-out within. Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities, any third party visitors are only allowed access at our express permission.
Payments can be made online as well as by digital bank transfer. Any charges raised against us by our banks for handling dishonored bank transfers or credit cards, must be reimbursed by the lead guest within seven (7) days of any request to do so.
All guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of all other staying guests. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests are not honoring this agreement or causing a disturbance / nuisance to other guests.
Cancellation, Returned Deposit & Non-Arrival Conditions
Guests who need to cancel a booking should contact us as soon as possible and subject to the cancelation policy on your booking. It is suggested that booking guests take out appropriate holiday / cancellation insurance where required.
In the rare event we need to cancel your booking with us, please be aware that we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control and that our liability to you is limited to the refund of any payment already made.
